LGMA Debuts e-Newsletter

Submitted by April Ward on April 18, 2012.

Today the California Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement released its first edition of an e-newsletter created to reach a wide range of audiences with information and updates on the LGMA.   With this first issue, we hope to begin a dialogue with buyers, industry, media and consumers by regularly providing stakeholders with facts and information about leafy greens food safety.

We plan to issue this newsletter six to nine times over the course of the year. Each edition will contain valuable information about LGMA programs and projects, inspection issues, food safety practices, new research findings, regulatory and legislative activities concerning food safety, news from the field about training and technical issues, farmer profiles and much, much more.

Initially the newsletter will be distributed to individuals interested in LGMA activities that we currently have in our files.  The LGMA will be actively encouraging any other interested parties to sign-up to receive the newsletter in the future.  We hope you will find it a valuable resource.
